Vermi Compost Making Training

Vermi culture is the need of the hour. To inform the people, about how its to be obtained the Trust has established a vermin culture plant of 6 units, The main aim of starting this plant was to tell the people about its advantages and how it can be produced. Other than this, the Trust along with the District Horticulture Department is helping the different villages to establish their own vermin culture plant by providing them knowledge and giving monetary help.

Solar Energy /Sewerage plant /Bio gas plant

To encourage the people to use the alternative sources of energy, solar energy equipments have been installed in the school campus. These, provide hot water to the school hostels during winter seasons. The Trust along with the BHEL is helping the people to install solar energy equipment at a concessional rate.

Plantation in various villages of Bahal

A seminar on Agriculture and use of hybrid seeds was conducted by the National Horticulture Research Council in the premises of Gyankunj. In this the expert informed the farmers about the different varieties of hybrid seeds and their use. Trust has also developet an Ayurvedic Medicinal Park in which various plants like Jatropha is used for making bio-diesel. Around 200 plants of Amla, Aloe vera and other medicinal plants are also being grown. It lays emphasis on encouragement of Horticulture.

Parks

Keeping in view the need of people, the BRHD Trust has improved the public services like development of a park in the centre of Bahal in which many new trees are being implanted. This park is being used for conducting sports competitions and social religious functions air ect.
